If you plan to call us more often, please create a free account on Airmeet, as it will save our nonprofit money and we can offer free calls to more Plurals. There is no limit to how often you can call, however when its busy please make room for others.
Yes, absolutely! We have Plural Support Tables and volunteers ready to listen to you and your headmates stories and worries, no matter the label(s) you use to describe your unique and individual experiences.
Yes, if you introduce yourself with a name, at the start of the call or when you switch, we gladly use that name and your individual pronouns if we know them when needed and appropriate.
That depends on the word(s) you use! Our volunteers copy the language you and your System use to describe your unique and individual experiences.
Each System is different but being understood is important! Hence our tables have different topics. Both our volunteers and you our caller, pick the table that best matches your lived experience or need.
The Plural Association really helped us find safe ways to communicate with our system mates, to feel accepted and safe. Without The Plural Association, we would probably still be struggling to get out of bed each day. Encouragement, friendliness and acceptance goes such a long way when helping people heal.
It works and I feel safe because The Plural Association is run and started by other plurals who know and understand from first hand experience what plurals need.
The Plural Association provides resources and outreach to the DID and plural communities. This resource is not only one I utilize personally, but one I recommend to my clients.
